We are all set for next mondays course in Celbridge. We are going up in the world - all the way to the attic ! The room for our course is fondly referred to as the attic but you could have a football match in it. Looking forward to seeing everyone

We had a great day in Kilkenny today but I have to admit we were glad to get home. The awful weather that we are all been subjected to couldn't keep away our newest bunch of course attendee's. Well done to you all & hope you had a safe journey home. Click on the picture to view more shots from the day.
The Pet Mania group have booked us to bring the Canine First Responder course to their head office in Kilkenny for all their groomers.Great to see corporate bodies investing in their staff's ongoing education.

More congratulations to our latest sucessful course particapents on last saturdays course. Liz was furthest travelled this time coming from Galway. We hope you all enjoyed the day aswell as learning vital skills.

Edenderry has never seen the likes of it !! Historic day in a historic building . Course attendee's came from as far as Kerry,Galway & Dublin .The Old National school has stood there since 1835 and has become the latest venue for our CFR course. 16 new responders headed home after a day jam packed learning their new skills. We really enjoyed hosting the day and everyone seemed to enjoy being there.
Well done to all !! - click here to see pics Well done to all our course participants’ yesterday. Folks had travelled from as far as Waterford & Shannon. We had a very busy day all round. Karina & myself hope you all found it as rewarding & enjoyable as we did. Any poor canine mannequin that happened to be in the vicinity of one particular working group got bandaged whether there were any injuries or not. It is great fun to see imaginations take hold as people explore their new found skills.
Not content to work through the staged scenario one group had poor Petunia the poodle with a long list of injuries after chasing a ball which became lodged in her throat at which point she fell through a door leaving her with glass protruding from a laceration on her shoulder .Then it seemed the ball that had been choking her until removed using the abdominal thrusts managed to impale it self on her tail….I’m glad we only had tea and coffee on offer- goodness knows the scenarios’ that would have been compiled had fizzy drinks been available ??? Poor Petunia may need theraphy to recover from her ordeal ! A big thank you goes to Michelle who arrived for the course with 2 giant pavalova's ! We didn't even leave crumbs to tempt the weight watchers meeting there the following morning. I was sorry not to have remembered to take a picture of you all with your certificates but well done to you all. Hopefully you will never be faced with a situation that requires you to use the knowledge you have gained . But if a situation does present itself hopefully your training can kick in and you will be able to come to the aid of a canine in trouble. |
